Like through a ribcage, the view opens up onto the World Trade Center site in Lower Manhattan, New York. Santiago Calatrava's underground corridor links the World Trade Center PATH Station with the Battery Park City Ferry Terminal and Brookfield Place Pavilion (formerly known as the World Financial Center). The 600-foot long marble passage crosses West St and almost makes you want to go visit New Jersey. This first part of the $4 billion World Trade Center Transportation Hub opened in October 2013, the rest is supposed to be open to the public by 2015.
